CABOT CIRCUS HALF TERM EVENTS | HALF TERM CHILDRENS ENTERTAINMENT Saturday 22nd October to Sunday 30th October, Ground Floor, Cabot Circus Head down to Cabot Circus during half term where there will be something different happening each day to entertain children from our retailers including House of Fraser, Eskimo Kids, The Entertainer, Explore Learning, Showcase Cinema de Lux and many more. Located at the bottom of the steps outside Game store, children can play games on the astroturf, meet Bernie the bear and other mascots, plus there will be face painting too. Eskimokids professional stylists will be cutting children's hair live on Saturday 22nd & 29th October and the Fat Controller will be giving away Thomas the Tank Engine books in House of Fraser's childrenswear depatment and you could even win a Fraser Bear! |  DIWALI EVENT Wednesday 26th to Sunday 30th October Join in the celebration of the Festival of Light - Diwali 2011 at Quakers Friars this half term. There are 5 days of celebrations from 10am every day featuring Indian food markets, sweets, Indian styles & furnishings and henna designs.
Bhangra and Bollywood classical singers and dancers will entertain the crowds in Quakers Friars square. There are even rides & amusements for children located on Merchant Street South. Shubh (Happy) Diwali. |  | A RAGING BULL COMES TO HOUSE OF FRASER
Saturday 29th October at 3.00pm - 4.00pm. With rugby taking centre stage this autumn, House of Fraser has timed to perfection the launch of men’s casualwear label, Raging Bull. This rugby inspired brand was set up by the Gloucester and England playing legend Phil Vickery who recently retired from the game but can be seen currently on ITV commentating at the Rugby World Cup. Raging Bull offers durable but extremely well designed t-shirts, hoodies, rugbys, polos and gilets that reflect the brand’s rugby heritage and Phil’s passion for the game. There is also the opportunity to meet Phil in person and receive signed books and Racing Bull merchandise when he officially launches the collection in the menswear department in House of Fraser on Saturday 29th October at 3.00 p.m. |
