SEE DAVID HASSELHOFF AT CABOT CIRCUS ON 1 DECEMBER

5.30pm – 6.30pm, under the roof, Cabot Circus

Join us for an evening of fun as megastar David Hasslehoff launches a giant ‘Christmas in Bristol’ advent calendar competition.

THE FUN STARTS AT 5.30PM…
Heart Breakfast Presenters Paris Troy and Paulina Gillespie will be on stage from 5.30pm then you will be entertained by the ‘Lost boy’ drummers and performers with an incredible performance of sight and sound at 5.45pm.

...AND THEN COMES THE HOFF AT 6PM...
The Hoff arrives on stage around 6pm, opening door number one of the ‘Christmas in Bristol’ advent calendar and picking the first lucky winner at random from the crowd. He will be joined by Troy and Paulina plus his old pal Kit, his Knight Rider car.

From 2nd December onwards, the advent calendar in Cabot Circus will open every day with a message to remind the public to go to www.VisitBristol.co.uk to discover the daily prize and enter the competition.  There are fantastic prizes up for grabs every day until Saturday 24th December. Prizes include daily giveaways of family tickets to watch Peter Pan in January along with prizes from Bristol’s extensive range of attractions, hotels, city centre shops and restaurants. CHRISTMAS EVENTS AT CABOT CIRCUS

BRISTOL CITY CENTRE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS SWITCH ON
FIRE, ACROBATICS AND SKATING SHOW FREE
Friday, 11 November 2011, 6pm - 7pm

Join us at 6pm under the glass roof at Cabot Circus to see the Bristol City Centre Christmas lights switched on for free with a spectacular fire-themed show.

Visitors will be treated to a dazzling performance by Cirque Bijou featuring acrobatics, fire, amazing dance routines and a human Catherine-wheel display before brand-new Christmas lights are switched on in the centre of Cabot Circus and Bristol for the first time.

UNVEILING OF SKATING RINK - QUAKERS FRIARS
Once the lights are switched on at Cabot Circus, celebrations continue at Quakers Friars where Cirque Bijou will showcase a high-energy fire show and Wonder Ice will take to the rink to perform a glittering routine, to mark the opening of the Quakers Friars skating rink.

Young visitors will also get a magical surprise as the likes of Wallace &Gromit, Blackbeard and Mr Brunel entertain the crowds.

QUAKERS FRIARS SKATING RINK
Open 11 November to 8 January

The Quakers Friars skating rink is back for all to enjoy. So wrap up warm, get your skates on and come and have fun on our outdoor, super-glide synthetic skating rink in Quakers Friars.

Skate hire is available so there’s no excuses not to give it a try. And don’t forget it’s open until the 8th of January so there’s plenty of time to get your skates on.

OPENING TIMES
Monday to Friday – 12 noon to 8pm
Saturday – 10am to 8pm
Sunday – 10am to 5pm

PRICES
Adult - £6.00
Children - £4.50
Concession - £4.50
Family Ticket (2 adults , 2 children) - £18.00

Tickets available from the skating rink cabin in Quakers Friars.
The skating rink is suitable for children aged 3 years and over.
